Use this record for a decision

For Toy Sword, check Pinewood Board, Sanding Block, Handle before committing a production batch. Compare the recorded effect (+1) with the intended use before selling or equipping it. Inspect the current buy/sell tooltip and keep personal inventory separate from business cargo.

Work from the raw inputs toward the final product when you make every stage yourself. If an intermediate is available to buy, compare its current quote with the extra inputs, worker time and storage needed to craft it. This graph does not choose the cheaper option without those values.
