Use this record for a decision

For Soil Solution, check Toad's Eyes, Bat's Blood, Spider's Legs, Iron Ingot, Paper before committing a production batch. A listed reference value is not a guaranteed buyer or a fixed margin. Inspect the current buy/sell tooltip and keep personal inventory separate from business cargo.

Work from the raw inputs toward the final product when you make every stage yourself. If an intermediate is available to buy, compare its current quote with the extra inputs, worker time and storage needed to craft it. This graph does not choose the cheaper option without those values.
