Use this record for a decision

For Lucky Stone, check Gold Ingot, Slate Tile, Granite Block, Sanding Block before committing a production batch. Compare the recorded effect (State Authority: +15; Town Council: +15; Church Authority: +15; Town Servant: +15; Town Bailiffs: +15; informants: +15) with the intended use before selling or equipping it. Inspect the current buy/sell tooltip and keep personal inventory separate from business cargo.

Work from the raw inputs toward the final product when you make every stage yourself. If an intermediate is available to buy, compare its current quote with the extra inputs, worker time and storage needed to craft it. This graph does not choose the cheaper option without those values.
