Current EA changes that affect this page
The EA launch announcement warns that old demo saves are incompatible with the updated demo. The older demo remains on the demo_0.3.0 branch for existing playthroughs.
Separate the versions
The June demo announcement names three professions and Kuttenberg. July adds Herle and tutorial tasks. September announces eight professions and six cities for Early Access. Mixing these snapshots produces incorrect comparisons, especially if a guide treats a demo recipe or building capacity as launch data.
What parity promises
The September 17 launch announcement confirms the demo update actually shipped. It also warns against loading previously made demo saves. It does not promise unlimited demo turns, every EA city or cross-edition save transfer.
Use the demo for a decision
Test the business screens, cart handling and political perspective. Write down the version shown in your client and the particular frustration you want resolved. Compare that issue against the new update notes instead of assuming that an unchanged feature list means unchanged behaviour.
