FIELD GUIDE CHECKED SEP 27, 2026 · PATCH 0.4.5

Cash flow and spending order

Cash flow tracks when money enters and leaves your business. It answers whether a plan remains funded between purchases and sales, even when the final batch margin looks positive.

Current EA changes that affect this page

Treasury behavior was adjusted to collect taxes and receive imperial payments in relation to city renown. Older fixed treasury figures should not be treated as an income forecast. The cart-purchasing issue was fixed; the patch states that players can purchase as many carts as they like. This does not mean carts are free or that all destinations have identical inventory.

Start from available cash

Enter the money available for the plan, then list expected inflows and outflows for a defined period. Do not include an unsold item as cash. Keep a planned sale separate until its price and delivery are sufficiently clear for your scenario.

Review the next commitment

Check ingredients, wages, known repairs and planned improvements before spending on expansion. If a family member manages a business, its use of funds can change what remains for another objective.

Use a scenario, not a prediction

The cash-flow tool uses user-entered amounts and pure arithmetic. It has no live market feed and does not infer tax laws or demand. Save your assumptions with the plan and rerun it when the game’s prices or your assignments change.
