Workshops and business capacity

A workshop brings together employees, production tasks, stored materials and improvements. Its actual capacity and upgrade costs must be read from the build you are playing.

Current EA changes that affect this page

An action to remove a building Master was added. It lets the owner stop that appointment rather than continuing to diagnose automation as if removal were unavailable.

Look for the limiting step

Inspect input availability, worker assignments and free storage separately. Adding a worker will not resolve an absent ingredient, and an extra storage slot will not deliver cargo that is still on a cart. The workshop planner helps list these constraints without inventing throughput.

Read improvements as specific changes

The business diary describes improvements affecting worker access, goods, tasks, storage and appeal. These are different benefits. Record the improvement’s displayed effect and cost instead of treating every upgrade as the same productivity increase.

Allow time for maintenance

The official preview associates poor integrity with accident risk and lower appeal. Exact current rates and repair costs remain unknown. Reserve a maintenance check in your plan, and use a current quote before deciding whether an upgrade can repay itself.
