Inspect the right state
Record the accusation, selected character, recent actions and installed build. Inspect the current law and actual evidence rather than assuming the notice proves the alleged act occurred. Keep the tutorial context, particularly the location and objective, with the report.
Make the decision
Separate a possibly false accusation from an evidence-strength mismatch or a punishment you did not expect. These are different diagnostic questions. Do not destroy the save or repeatedly commit another legal action merely to clear a confusing notification.
Verify the result
Use a manual checkpoint to reproduce the smallest known sequence and report the resulting accusation. The guide cannot guarantee a favorable verdict or remove an existing legal case; it helps preserve the information needed to distinguish an open issue from a new bug.
