Inspect the right state

Record the source, alleged act and displayed strength for every piece you hold. The 0.4.1 correction specifically addresses receiving multiple weak pieces instead of one strong piece, so a list length is not a reliable substitute for the strength field.

Make the decision

Inspect the relevant law and any displayed deadline before choosing a legal action. Evidence acquisition, an accusation and a verdict are different steps. An official fix for evidence generation does not establish that every act is witnessed or every accusation is valid.

Verify the result

Keep the original pieces intact in your observation log. If reporting an unexpected result, include the event response and actual evidence tooltip; avoid summarizing it only as a total number of evidence points.
