Separate child appearance from heir eligibility

A character’s model is not enough to establish adulthood or succession eligibility. The 0.4.5 child-appearance fixes are visual fixes, not a published inheritance formula.

Inspect the right state

Inspect the actual character and family panels when a child looks unchanged after growing up. Record the displayed age or status and the available nomination action. Keep these observations separate from the model or animation symptom.

Make the decision

If the nomination action is unavailable, follow the condition shown by the current game. If only the model is wrong, record it as a visual issue. Do not invent an age cutoff from a secondary text where the numeric value is absent.

Verify the result

Preserve the affected save and a screenshot of both the character panel and model for a report. For planning, use the game’s confirmed eligibility and nomination rather than treating a corrected appearance as automatic inheritance approval.

Read the evidence correctly

Official patch notes establish the shipped changes they name. Secondary figures remain attributed reference values until checked in the installed game.
