What the date means
September 17 is the start of paid Early Access, with further development planned afterward. It is not the full 1.0 release date. The September 11 announcement is the newest roster source in this review, and the Steam store agrees on the calendar date.
What to check after release
Early Access is already available. The useful checks now are the installed version, save compatibility and whether a desired feature has shipped. Use the current patch register rather than an old countdown.
What to check at launch
Look for the game becoming purchasable, the actual price and discount, the selected language options and the release notes. A date passing does not prove a successful release. Our countdown will switch to a verification message until the released state is confirmed.
