The developer reports substantial late-game performance improvements and several crash fixes. These changes do not establish that every save or hardware configuration is free of stutters.
Check the GPU the game is using
In the August support thread, a user with a laptop RTX 3060 received the error. The developer suggested that the application might be using integrated graphics and explained selecting the dedicated GPU for Europa1410.exe in NVIDIA’s per-program graphics settings.
Use the correct driver source
The developer also suggested updating graphics drivers, specifically mentioning official Intel drivers for an Iris GPU. Check your hardware against the Steam requirements. This is a targeted diagnosis, not a promise that an update makes unsupported hardware capable.
If it still fails
Report the exact GPU, driver version, error text and demo build. Include whether the dedicated adapter is assigned. Do not download a replacement DirectX DLL from an arbitrary site or assume a DX11 launch flag is supported; neither is the verified fix in this source.
