Reduce the search area
When looking for a resource site, isolate that category rather than reading every city marker. When following a workshop objective, use your buildings or profession buildings. The filter describes what is highlighted; it does not move stock or assign a worker.
Distinguish overlays
The economy diary also describes a district overlay for quarter metrics. Building categories and district conditions answer different questions. Use building highlights to find a place, and the appropriate city information to understand its surroundings.
Recover a dismissed prompt
The July notes say tutorial text is retained in the City Archives. If the overlay was opened by a tutorial step, reread the instruction before changing several unrelated settings. Record a persistent display problem with your build and selected filter.
